1" Tiger Tooth Lateral Root Cutter Kit

Introducing our 1” Lateral Hydraulic Root Cutter Kit, designed for efficient root cutting in 4”, 6”, and 8” sewer lines. This kit includes 3 high-alloy 4130 steel saws and 3 skids, sized for 4", 6", and 8" pipes. The motor features a durable round body design with a hardened steel rear tail nozzle and 6 output jets for maximum power. Despite its compact size, this motor delivers impressive torque and comes equipped with a 5/8” output shaft with a keyway and through-bolt for easy attachment to the saw hub.

The 3 concave root saws are heat-treated to 55 Rockwell hardness, providing the perfect balance of durability and cutting efficiency. Sized slightly under their nominal size, these saws are engineered to glide over pipe offsets while staying close to the pipe walls, effectively cutting through roots, grease, and other debris without damaging the pipe. The concave blade design ensures that the teeth point inward, minimizing the risk of pipe damage.

Also included are 3 round body skids (not shown), which attach to the motor via set screws, as well as a 5/8” root saw hub (RSH-5/8) for easy connection to the saws. For maintenance, the kit provides a shaft turning tool to remove water from the motor, along with an Allen wrench, toolbox, and detailed instructions. Simply oil the motor after each use for long-lasting performance.
