1/2" Tiger Tooth Lateral Root Cutter Kit

Our 1/2” Lateral Hydraulic Root Cutter Kit is a complete solution for tackling tough blockages in 4”, 6”, and 8” sewer lines. Equipped with a high-torque round body motor, it features a hardened steel rear tail nozzle with 6 output jets for enhanced cutting power. The motor has a 5/8” output shaft with a keyway and through bolt, allowing easy attachment to the included saw hub.

This kit comes with 3 concave root saws for 4”, 6”, and 8” pipes, made from high-alloy 4130 steel and heat-treated to 55 Rockwell for durability. Each saw is 1/2” undersized to smoothly navigate pipe offsets while staying close to the pipe walls, effectively cutting through roots, grease, and detergents. The concave blade design ensures inward-facing teeth, preventing damage to the pipe.

Also included are 3 round body skids (not shown) that attach to the motor via set screws. The 5/8” root saw hub (RSH-5/8) fits perfectly on the motor’s shaft and connects to the saws. To aid in maintenance, the kit includes a shaft turning tool for water removal, along with an Allen wrench, tool box, and instructions. Simply oil the motor after each use for extended life.

Designed for optimal performance at 30-60 GPM and 800-2000 PSI, this kit is a reliable choice for maintaining clean pipes. Additional 3” and 10” saws and skids are available separately.
